Some where my sewing room is in there
It seems like the tables, chairs, and any flat surface has gathered stuff.
How does that happen give me a flat surface and it can be covered in stuff in no time at all. I sure wish I knew how it happen but is sure seems to. I am hoping to deal with all this stuff today before I go to work tonight. It will be a challenge.
This way I can start out the New Year on an upnote. We can only hope.

Love my new scanner/printer/copier/fax
I do have to edit them a little bit because it scans the whole screen area but I can live with that part.
Plus the ink in this is pigma ink that was a question I asked before getting it. To do quilt labels on fabric if you have pigma ink it will make things so much more permenant. I was told that this printer has pigma ink. I have not tried a label yet in it and have a couple that I need to do to catch up.
I will probably test this like I did the last time I created labels for the first time. I made a label and then threw it in with blue jeans and washed it several times just to see how it comes out. I will try and put up some photos of this in the different stages so all can see.

Christmas Day
It is icy and walking is not a lot of fun but I think the worst of it is done for now.
I spent the day dealing with the http://neiqg.com web site. In the computer reformat I lost my guild web site file and all the info in it. So I proceded to recreate the site. It is not done but a good start was made. Then when I went to upload it to the server nothing worked. I e-mailed tech support but that did not help much. I finally used the program uploaded the site to the personel web space that my internet provider give me. Then I used an FTP file program and moved the files from there to a folder on my lap top and then moved them to the guild web site server.
Talk about the long way around. I then called go daddy tech support the location of the server and talked to them. At first they were blaming the program I was using. When I could upload to a totally different server that did not work any longer.
I have a feeling that some setting on their server needed tweeking and then I could upload what I needed to upload. Since I could get in with the other program and I could used the program I create the web site in to move things to my internet provider server. The problem was not on my end. Let's just say I was getting a little fustrated.
Oh well it is all up now and I should be able to tweek it over the next couple weeks and get the rest of the links and info updated.
Hope everyone else had a wonderful day.

Snow, Sleet or Rain
The Friends of the Library had a Silent Auction in Aug. as part of Fayette's Watermelon Days celebration I got a pie dish and put it in the auction with a note that if the dish was returned to me I would fill it with a freshly made pie.
Well the dish was purchased and I am making a Coconut Pecan Pie for the buyer for Christmas. So I did a little searching on line and found this recipe that I think sounds really good.
So my plan for this afternoon is to get the crust done up so that way I am not leaving it all to the last minute.
For some reason today I have a doggy that is very clingy I not sure what is going on with her but she is like right under foot and cannot seem to settle down. I don't know if the storm that is moving in has her all upset or what is going on but she is just being a little pill.

Christmas Decorating
So the boxes have been out waiting for someone to unpack and start putting up Christmas things but the painting of the room off the dining room took priority. The painting has been done and now I been busy putting things away and we rearrange the house around too. Plus I don't know where all the dust seems to come from but it sure seems like it is thick in places.
So I think that I am about 1/2 done I have almost all the Santa's out and now I need to work on the Christmas trees. I have the tree we set up for the Tree festival and we decided to decorate that tree along with the three other smaller trees that we got a couple years ago. They are small what I call Charlie Brown type trees they are smaller and pencil style trees that are prelit.
So tomarrow should be busy also.

where has the time gone
I was just looking and I have not been on here in ages. Though life has been busy I just went an looked for the camera so I could deal with pictures of the tree that we did for Young Friends of the Library well after looking around the house I am thinking where did I put that camera. Bingo, I remember it is outside in the truck so since I am sitting here in PJ's I don't think I will be running right out and getting it.
Oh well that is how some things go.
So what has been going on this week??
We did an upside down Christmas tree this year with Gingerbread cookie decorations. Cinnamon Stick ornaments. 3 d star ornaments that were colored and put together. Here is a link to the star ornament. These worked great we did 4 pieces glued the 2 layers together with a hanger between them and hung them on our tree they would work really well to also do up a group of them and set them on a table. Plus if you are a scrap booker some of the papers would be really pretty cut up in the star shape and done or rubber stamping and glitter Oh the number of ways to create this would be so much fun. LOL I may have to do more.
So between all the busy thing that have to happen at work to help people celebrate, breads, cookies and all that they don't have time to make for them selves it has just been a super busy week. LOL I think it should slow down a little bit now that the tree is done but we will see. I say that and all what ever seems to break loose.
So hope your
