Figured out my problem with the quilt top. I cut the embroidery panels wrong so now I have to create a fix for the problem.
I don't know if you can see from this photo that the top is cut a 1 inch to wide so that created a problem with the side border of flying geese by the time, I figured this out I had the top border sewn on and the smaller brown border that went all the way around. So, either I rip it all apart or figure out a way to fix it. My idea to fix it is to either take a strip of background that I used for the embroidery and add that to it or take the darker brown 2-inch border and add that in between the flying geese rows.
Not ripping out all that stitching sounds a lot easier than taking it all apart and cutting down the two embroidery panels on the top and bottom section. So, in the picture above you can see how I have the brown border extend out to the edge on the right-hand side. Then I did the same thing at the bottom on the left side. I really don't think anyone will notice the issue if I do not tell them. Maybe if they have made the wall quilt, they would notice my fix, but it is not distracting from the quilt, and it sure saved taking it all apart.

I am not sure how long I have had this quilt setting in a box the embroidery was something I worked on when at work. Then I started to collect different fabrics to make the blocks and borders it has been there a while I bet something like 5 years or maybe a little more than that. Nice to see it out of the box and now in the pile to be quilted. That quilting pile is getting bigger I am going to have to get that part of things started soon.
