Tshirt quilt

Today I started planning a t-shirt quilt the t-shirts have been grouped into two piles.

The first pile are shirts that will have a colored sashing around them. The pattern shows a black sashing around these pieces since many of these t-shirts are dark in color that's not going to work. My thoughts are to get either a red or blue /turquoise color to go around them

 I've taken a picture of the shirts that are to be sashed with the color strips. 

I have a second picture of other  t-shirts that will go in the quilt but will not have sashing put around them.
